7 years later to be exact) that needs purchased. When you consider most, if not every, box set you buy has the CD key used already anyway (and thus is a worthless string of numbers and letters) and when you add to that the fact that now every account on Live gets every expansion through House of Thule for free, leaving only Veil of Alaris (Which is obviously well beyond Titanium's years. And even then apparently only some (or judging by the F2P model, most) of the services have value as some (few) can be used for free as well.Ģ.The only thing that even ever held value on the Titanium box sets before F2P was the CD key. Essentially Sony is saying their client has no monetary value, only the service does. Ever since F2P you just download the client from the patcher for free with no money exchange. Up until F2P it was digital distribution ever since Seeds of Destruction (Secrets of Faydwer was the last box set). They are no longer made, and in fact, Sony no longer makes box sets at all. As discs end up permanently in peoples' possessions, scratched, damaged, and otherwise destroyed over time there will be no more for sale at all anyway. There's a limited number of Titanium box sets out there anymore. ![]() Titanium is going for $10 on eBay, why bother stealing it?ġ.
